it’s a good article. everyone should read it. our presidents have no goddam statesmen advising them.

I read the whole thing and it was eye opening. The most disgusting part was seeing how NK has tried several times to broker a peace deal and only for US presidents past and present to reject it.

Their nuclear deterrent worked so long as their capability was limited to striking the south. Now they want to expand the delivery range, and that is a fatal course of action for them to take.

The DPRK wants peace?
Hold elections and respect the outcome.

Good summary.

Trump accuses McCain of trying to start WWIII and then lights the match himself. What dimensional chess is that?

I used to play chess myself - by myself. Maybe Trump is playing both sides.

When it comes to this kind of nuclear brinksmanship, the best bet is that whatever can go wrong will go wrong.

I wouldn't call that "the best bet".
